Mountaris is a doomgaze band from a quiet southern Australian town, formed in 2014. Mountaris roughly translates to "of the mountain". Reflecting the diverse natural aesthetic of the southernmost continent Mountaris' sound is epic and journey-like. Oceanic melodies rise above cascading drums and thunderous riffs creating aural landscapes that are bold, ethereal and often unexpected. Not intended for the musically unadventurous.
